Women Empowerment
Our women’s empowerment programme encourages women to emerge as confident individuals and conquer the challenge of contributing financially to the family and internal group of devotees, while managing the household. Capture strength of women involve in various services and empowering them with an inclusive participatory approach is the essence of our programme. This help them to learn and grow in a good pace and also help them to create a special identity about themselves.
Women if not empowered are detrimental to holistic development of a community and society.
Thus our Women empowerment programme captures the essence of empowered women and is implementing Women’s Empowerment program with an inclusive and participatory approach.
We respect the individual with their skill set and induce them to various creative artwork, handwork and other type of engagement in a regulated environment.
House Program
House program is an integral part of Vaishnava congregation where we get the benefits of association of other fellow devotees and like-minded souls who are equally interested in developing and purifying consciousness.
House program or Satsang is association of people who are searching for eternal truth. It is arranged through Uddhava Sabha at homes of interested people. It is effective in motivating participants to cultivate devotional habits with a sense of love for Krishna which manifest itself in increased happiness and peacefulness. Congregation members and new comers are encouraged to come in the program to start a new phase of spiritual awakening in one’s life.
The program consist of Kirtana the Holy names of Lord Krishna, spiritual discussion on Bhagavad-gita or other Vedic scriptures, Question/Answer session and concludes with prasad (sanctified food offered to Lord). For these kind of Program you can plan on the occasion of your birthday, marriage anniversary or any special dates to celebrate for any specific reason.
Village Preaching
Villages are the soul of our country and possess a beautiful and peaceful environments. A huge number of population still live in the villages where the spiritual and Vedic cultures are practiced.
But in the last hundreds of years, there has been a constant decline at all levels namely education, occupation, ecosystem, happiness, culture and so on due to Western culture or modernization. Entertainment devices such as TV, internet, smartphones and false promotion of economic growth have degraded the values and culture of Villages.
The mission of village preaching campaign is to spread the teachings of Bhagavad Gita and provide the wisdom of love and service towards lord Krishna, without considering their caste, gender, religion, and nationality. Our aim is to provide vedic education based on vedic scriptures to develop pure love for the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Krishna and make a positive and happy environment for all living beings.
Village preaching includes, Harinaam Sankirtan, Vedic sessions, Distribution of Srila Prabhupada books and Krishna Prasadam, Mantra meditation, melodious kirtan, drama and many other activities.
Yatra / Camp
The spiritual tours and yatras organized by Uddhava Sabha holds a great significance in the practice of Krishna consciousness. These tours provide devotees and spiritual seekers with the opportunity to visit holy places associated with Lord Krishna and His pastimes, such as Vrindavan, Govardhan, Mayapur, Nabadwip & many other places.
By participating in these tours, individuals can immerse themselves in the sacred atmosphere of these holy places, which are spiritually charged and filled with the presence of the Lord. It allows devotees to deepen their connection with Krishna and experience a profound spiritual transformation.
